homemade brownies

DELICIOUS BROWNIES
Ingredients:
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
3/4 cup Cocoa
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup chopped nuts or mini-chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan (I used a stone baking dish).

2. Place butter in large bowl and melt in microwave. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with spoon after each addition. Add cocoa; beat until well blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat well. Stir in nuts or chocolate chips or you can sprinkle them on top (optional). Pour batter into prepared pan.

3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cut into bars.

Here are some pictures of my experience...These were made for a birthday celebration in my parents small group. There were some leftover so I got to have one and they were chocolaty!
